Direct Connection (High Speed)
Three forms of direct connection have recently (or shortly will) become available:

ISDN (Telco)

• Integrated Services Digital Network
• Older technology, combines two 64 kbps channels (128 kbps)
• Basic phone service is included
• $55/mo., user must purchase modem and separate ISP account

ISDN is significantly slower than either of the following two high speed Internet services. Given the high price of ISDN, it does not appear to be an attractive option -- unless you happen to live in an area that only has ISDN as an option.
